‘The Bradford Anti-fascist Defence Committee was set up after this meeting at Hutton Middle school. We (AYM members) went to protest and some of us sat in a row near the back. Tyndall walked down the aisle and the BNP in front of us stood up and threw their chairs at us. They ran out from a side door and we followed them. Twelve people were arrested as a result. The police did not arrest a single BNP member.’
